Hot Diggity Dog!
Woohoo!!!
My new favorite song. Just beautiful!!! Remember it from Chronicles of Narnia; Prince Caspian!
Possibly one of the most amazing things EVER. Two of my favorite songs- in one!!! (LIKE the shampoo and conditioner in one, only better) I heard it on the radio tonight and would’ve wrecked the car out of excitement had I not been at a red light!!!!!!!
I’m LOVIN’ IT!
What kind of points?
- Lorna: Where's the booze? We'll get it out of her.
- Sarah: It's like the Veritaserum in Harry Potter.
- Savannah: Woah, you just got major cool points.
- Roddey: Or nerd points.
- Savannah: Or jerk points.
Deon!! You ain’t three!!
Hellooo Friends!!!
How ya makin?
It’s my last day in the city of New Orleans. : ( I’m starting it with breakfast and blogs at CC’s coffee. Then I’m off the French Quarter for the day! At some point I will pack, but seeing as that is a daunting and depressing task, I’m trying not to think about it!! MoPete would be happy to tell you about the cleanliness of my room…
We went on an airboat tour the other day!!!! HOLLA HOLLA! So fun. I suggest that anyone who is visiting the city for a while take one. It’s not a necessity, but it’s worth the money you spend on it- especially if you get Captain Louis.
I have decided that I have to marry a Cajun man. Their voices are awesome times ten.
“When you’re smiling, when you’re smiling- the whole world smiles with you. When your laughing, when your laughing, the sun comes shining through. But when your crying, you bring on the rain- so stop that crying. Be happy again. Keep on smiling, cuz when your smiling, the whole world smiles with you!”
Oh, that’s your face!
Hellooo Friends!
How you makin?
I can’t believe that I only have 3 whole days left in New Orleans! So sad!! I can’t begin to explain how much I’m going to miss this city! It’s so wonderful!!!
Last night I went to Preservation Hall with Mollie Petersen and heard “Just a Closer Walk With Thee,” “What a Wonderful World,” “The Saints,” and “When You’re Smilin’” Life doesn’t get much better!
I’m in the coffee shop this morning after interviewing Miss Kim— our connection to internet and coffee— who explained that, other than the crime, she loves this city inside and out. It’s her home and she can’t imagine living anywhere else. At the beginning of the trip, I heard that a lot, but now I really understand it. I know why people came back after Katrina, why they refuse to let the city die. Because after just two weeks, a world without New Orleans is one that I don’t want to live in.
I’m lovin’ life!
